  1. Removal of all loose and bonded rust, scale, dirt, grease and falling coating using appropriate methods including but not limited to mechanical grinding, wire brushing and sanding.
  2. Surface preparation, priming, and application of protective paint to prevent future corrosion and extend the service life of the metal beam.
  3. Removal all dust, debris and residue created during surface preparation.
  4. Cleaning of the existing metal beam to ensure it dry and free of contaminants prior to coating application.
  5. Application of one (1) coat of a rust-inhibitive metal primer of all rusted surfaces.
  6. Application of two (2) full coats of industrial grade exterior metal paint designed for corrosion protection.
